She wrote candidly about her emotions, the thoughts she struggled with, and the physical side of infertility and loss too. There were moments where I giggled and moments where there were tears in my eyes. Abby is such a beautiful writer that once I started reading the book, it was hard to put it down. Usually twists and turns in a book are a good thing but since this is written about Abby’s life, it was emotional to read about the roadblocks in her journey and Reid’s journey with being in desperate need of an organ donor. It’s a perspective on infertility and loss that isn’t often seen represented and learning about the organ donation process was as meaningful.
